ABOUT

Junglecat Films formed in 2007 as an independent animation production company.

We have contributed to several short films, created two pilots for Nickelodeon, developed Gate Street High, a Flash animation series for the 10 to 14 year old market, and illustrated a children's novel.

Junglecat Films operates out of Perth, Western Australia, and is available for 3D, digital 2D, or traditional animation projects.

THE CREATIVE TEAM

Tanya Beeson is a designer, animation director, and producer, who actively contributes to the Perth animation industry as an educator, mentor, and project developer. Tanya is the co-creator, producer, and director of Gate Street High.
Evangeline Than is the co-producer of Gate Street High, and also contributes to Gate Street High as a screenwriter and animator. Evangeline and Tanya are on the committee of WAnimate, the Western Australian Animation Association.
Nicole Lush creator of Extreme Suzie and D.O.U.G., multitasks as a writer, designer, and animator. Nicole has worked on the television series Time Trackers as a post-production animator.
Tan Teck Weng leads the Melbourne branch of Junglecat Films. He is the creator of Tiki the Weasel.. Teck animates in 3D, Flash and traditional styles, and also works as a storyboard artist. His versatility and wide skill range make him a valued member of the Junglecat team. 
Daniel Archer is a West Australian based illustrator, animator, and designer. He is the lead animator on Gate Street High and designed the 2D animated sequences for the short film, The Awesomeness. Dan won the 2009 WAM-BAM 49 Hour Speed Animation Competition with Kokarokadoo.

Andrew Buckley is an Animator on media world's Dogstar series and has worked with Tanya and Dan A on My Extraordianary Little Sister and The Surprise (Stepmonsters) for Nickelodeon Australia . Andrew has worked on several music videos and commercials around Perth, with Dan he also won the 2009 WAM-BAM 49 Hour Speed Animation Competition with Kokarokadoo.
Daniel Kristjansson created the animated short Arrr and works as an animator on Gate Street High. He created the animation for Perth band Artsmartial's latest music video, and also worked on the animated 2D credit sequences for the short film, The Awesomeness.
Gareth Kees is a Perth animator and artist working on Gate Street High. Gareth's previous credits include Tiki the Weasel, D.O.U.G. and Dox.
Clancie Shorter as the producer of Extreme Suzie, Fleeced, D.O.U.G. and Tiki the Weasel, Clancie is a skilled animator herself. She has worked in a variety of mediums, 3D, Flash and even graphics projection for theater. Clancie is based in our Melbourne office as head Teck wrangler
Shani De Villiers is formerly from South Africa, where she studied Equestrian Science in Praetoria. Now she works on Gate Street High as a layout artist and animator, but still works with horses, but now in a more illustrative way. 
Adam Harvey is an animator on Gate Street High, and has made films in New Zealand and Australia. He currently resides in Perth and is the director of Speed Date and In Sickness. In Sickness won Adam the Best Director award at New Zealand's 2010 V48 Hour Furious Filmmaking competition.

Caspar Zielono is a filmmaker, musician and animator. His recent credits include The Awesomeness a short action film, and scoring Gate Street High, Caspar is currently developing a short piece involving Dropbears... stay tuned
